I have spent the majority of my career working with those who have come into contact with the criminal justice system. This included 20 years in the prison service and over 5 years in my current role with the Probation service. 

Time spent outside of work is with my partner Michelle and my 2 dogs Ted & Darcy. Darcy is the intelligent one who loves her walks, but Ted is a bit like his Dad in respect that he likes his food that little bit more than he likes to exercise. 

Admittedly, becoming a Celebrant was not on my list of top 10 jobs as a child, but I can think of nothing more personally rewarding than officiating at somebodies final chapter in their life and playing a part in ensuring that they are remembered and cherished.
